GE R25 Genura Reflector
This is admittedly an expensive light bulb, but it remains one of the smallest, brightest, and longest life fluorescent reflectors available today. As a 23 watt R-25 reflector it is more compact than the 60 to 75 watt R-30 reflectors it typically replaces. It has a rated life of 15,000 hours, which is 50% longer than other compact fluorescent reflectors. Unlike other compact fluorescent and incandescent light bulbs, the Genura will not suddenly burn out. It will simply slowly become less and less bright over time, lasting somewhere between 20,000 and 50,000 hours (though by 20,000 hours the light output be about half what it was when it was new).

Note: This compact fluorescent light may have reduced rated life in enclosed fixtures, or in poorly ventilated fixtures and should not be used outdoors where it would be exposed to the elements or on dimming circuits. Use only with photocells, motion detectors, and electronic timers that are suitable for use with compact fluorescent light bulbs. This lamp contains mercury. Please recycle at the end of its life.
